This morning our first keets (guinea hen chicks) arrived! We jumped in, found a company selling chicks in the cold of December and they're here! We set up a brooder in the green house and ran out with our three boys to welcome them to their new home and help them get settled. The adventure has started. :)

These kits are so cute and I'm glad to see how nicely you guys are taking care of them. These animals are adorable. O wish I could adopt them but sadly I can't.

Many focus on the actionable steps of quitting your life in the city and starting a new, simple life in the country, especially when you’re on a tight budget. Even though this lifestyle and process will be a lot of work. I feel that the journey will be much more rewarding and satisfying than conventional ways of living. This is no easy feat in today’s system. There are many things holding us back from achieving true, sustainable freedom.
